PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical division type fan housing capable of preventing a lower housing from being removed and enabling a worker to perform a maintenance work easily at a narrow space.SOLUTION: This invention relates to vertical division type housings H comprising an upper housing 1 storing a fan arranged in a ceiling-embedded type indoor unit and fixed to the indoor unit and a lower housing 2 removably attached to the upper housing 1. A rear end part in an air blowing direction at the upper housing 1 is formed with engaging parts 16 and at the same time a front end part in an air blowing direction is formed with a rib 18 having an upward inclination surface 17. The rear end part in an air blowing direction at the lower housing 2 is formed with engaged segments 25 to which the engaging parts 16 can be engaged and at the same time a front end part in an air blowing direction is formed with a guide part 22 having a downward inclination surface 21 that can be abutted against the upward inclination surface 17.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】下ハウジングの外れを防止することができ、かつ、狭いスペースでのメンテナンスを容易に行うことができる上下分割型ファンハウジングを提供する。【解決手段】天井埋込型室内機の内部に配設されるファンを収容し、かつ、当該室内機に固定される上ハウジング１と当該上ハウジング１に着脱自在に固定される下ハウジング２とを備えた上下分割型ファンハウジングＨ。前記上ハウジング１における、空気吹き出し方向後方側の端部には、係止部１６が形成されるとともに、空気吹き出し方向前方側の端部には、上向き傾斜面１７を有するリブ１８が形成されている。前記下ハウジング２における、空気吹き出し方向後方側端部には、前記係止部１６が係止可能な被係止部２５が形成されるとともに、空気吹き出し方向前方側端部には、前記上向き傾斜面１７と当接可能な下向き傾斜面２１を有するガイド部２２が形成されている。【選択図】図２
