Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control device with a consumable replacement function for a wire electric discharge machine, that replaces a consumable without stopping continuous operation and without requiring manpower when the consumable of a wire electric discharge machine has reached replacement time.SOLUTION: A control device 10 for a wire electric discharge machine includes: consumable service life expiration monitoring means 11; electric discharge state monitoring means 12; and consumable replacement time determining means 13. Accordingly, the control device recognizes when service life of a consumable expires and timing at which electric discharge machining is interrupted, and, in accordance with the timing, temporarily stops program operation by using program operation stopping command means 14 and transmits a determination result of replacement time for the consumable from consumable replacement time determination means to consumable replacement control means 17. In the control device, the consumable replacement control means commands consumable replacement means 18 to replace the consumable so that the consumable is automatically replaced. Further, after replacing the consumable, program operation is resumed by program operation resumption command means 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】ワイヤ放電加工機の消耗品が交換時期に達した際に、連続運転を停止することなく、また、人手を介することなく消耗品交換を行える消耗品交換機能を有するワイヤ放電加工機用の制御装置を提供する。【解決手段】ワイヤ放電加工機用制御装置10は、消耗品寿命到達監視手段11、放電状態監視手段12、消耗品交換時期判定手段13を有することにより、消耗品が寿命に達したことと放電加工が中断するタイミングとを認識し、そのタイミングに合わせて、プログラム運転停止指令手段14によるプログラム運転の一時停止が行われ、消耗品交換時期判定手段から消耗品交換制御手段17に消耗品の交換時期との判定結果が送られる。消耗品交換制御手段は消耗品交換手段18に消耗品の交換を指令し、消耗品の自動交換を行える制御装置とした。また、消耗品の交換後には、プログラム運転再開指令手段15によるプログラム運転の再開を行える制御装置である。【選択図】図1
