Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a crack while securing a desired electrostatic capacitance.SOLUTION: A multilayer ceramic capacitor C1 comprises: an element assembly 3; terminal electrodes 5 and 6 that are parallelly disposed in an inner part of the element assembly 3 so as to be faced each other in a lamination direction at an equivalent interval; and a plurality of inner electrodes 7 to 10. A length T of the element assembly 3 in an X-direction is longer than a length L of the element assembly 3 in a Z-direction and is equal to or less than a length W of the element assembly 3 in a Y-direction. A length W1 of the inner electrodes 7 to 10 in the Y-direction is longer than a length L1 of inner electrodes 7 to 10 in the Z-direction. The element assembly 3 includes: a plurality of opposite polarity facing areas 20A formed between the inner electrodes 7 and 9 which are faced each other; and a plurality of same polarity facing areas 20B formed between the inner part electrodes 7 which are faced each other through the inner part electrode 8 and between the inner part electrodes 9 which are faced each other through the inner part electrode 10.
