PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug connector that can be easily connected to a sheet-like cable.SOLUTION: A plug connector 1 is fitted to a receptacle connector 3 and coupled to FPC 2 to enable electrical connection between a receptacle terminal 33 equipped to the receptacle connector 3 and an FPC terminal 221 equipped to FPC 2, and has a plug housing 11, and plural plug terminals 12 each of which is mounted in the plug housing 11 and has a coupler 121 to be coupled to FPC 2 and a contact portion 122 to come into contact with the receptacle terminal 33 under the state that the contact portion 122 is fitted to the receptacle connector 3.
