Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconductive cable capable of preventing a damage of a heat-insulating pipe in an accident such as a ground fault; and a cable core for a superconductive cable.SOLUTION: A cable core for a superconductive cable includes: a superconductive conductor layer; a ground layer provided on the outer periphery of the superconductive layer through an electric insulating layer; and a protective layer provided on the outer periphery of the ground layer.
