PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a configuration for more quickly and surely reading an information code when performing a hold-up operation for allowing a reading device to read the information code in a portable information code display device capable of displaying the information code.SOLUTION: A portable information code display device 10 includes: a display part 12 capable of displaying an image; a display control part capable of controlling display to be performed by the display part 12; and a direction detection part capable of detecting a direction to which the display part 12 directs.
