Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydrotalcite compound having a crystal structure and particle size property having a special energy state and useful for example as an acid acceptor and an absorbent of halogen or an absorbent and a stabilizer of chlorine ion because adsorptivity of anion is excellent.SOLUTION: There is provided a hydrotalcite compound represented by the chemical formula of (a), having stretching vibration frequency of a hydroxyl group calculated by a Fourier transformation (FT-IR) of 3430 cmor more and satisfying following particle size property of (b) to (d). (a) MgAl(OH)AmHO (b) 5≤Sw≤20 (m/g) (c) 0.5≤Dp≤2 (μm) (d) D≤10.09 (μm ), where Arepresents n valent anion, x is 0.1≤x≤0.5 and m is 0≤m<1, Sw: BET specific surface area measured by a nitrogen adsorption method (m/g), Dp: 50% average particle diameter measured by a laser diffraction scattering particle size distribution measure (μm) and D: maximum particle diameter measured by the laser diffraction scattering particle size distribution measure (μm).SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】特定のエネルギー状態を有する結晶構造と粒度特性を有してなり、アニオンの吸着性が優れることから、例えば、ハロゲンの受酸剤・吸収剤や塩素イオンの吸着剤・安定剤として有用なハイドロタルサイト類化合物を提供する。【解決手段】下記(a)の化学式で表わされ、フーリエ変換(FT-IR )で求められる水酸基の伸縮振動周波数が3430cm-1以上であり、下記(b)〜(d)の粒度特性を満足することを特徴とするハイドロタルサイト類化合物。(a)Mg1-xAlx(OH)2An-1x/n・mH2O(b)5≦Sw≦20 (m2/g)(c)0.5 ≦Dp50≦2 (μm )(d)DMax≦10.09 (μm )式中、An-はn価のアニオンを示し、xは0.1≦x≦0.5、m は0≦m <1である。Sw:窒素吸着法で測定したBET 比表面積(m2/g)、Dp50:レーザー回折散乱式粒度分布計で測定した50%平均粒子径(μm )、DMax:レーザー回折散乱式粒度分布計で測定した最大粒子径(μm )。【選択図】なし
