Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means which enables the enhancement in vibration resistance to minimize the deterioration of battery characteristics (including a discharge capacity) owing to vibration resistance in a battery using an aqueous binder as a binder of a negative electrode active material layer.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises a power-generating element having: a positive electrode including a positive electrode current collector and a positive electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the positive electrode current collector; a negative electrode including a negative electrode current collector and a negative electrode active material layer formed on the surface of the negative electrode current collector and including an aqueous binder; and a separator holding an electrolytic solution. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, the amount of the binder included in the negative electrode active material layer is made 2-4 mass% to a total of 100 mass% of the negative electrode active material layer. Otherwise the 90°-peel strength when peeling the negative electrode active material layer from the negative electrode current collector is 30-70 N/mm and the percentage at the outer peripheral edge of the negative electrode active material layer, of a part which has been an end accounts for is less than 75%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】負極活物質層のバインダーとして水系バインダーを用いた電池において、耐振動性を向上させ、振動の負荷による電池特性(放電容量)の低下を最小限に抑制しうる手段を提供する。【解決手段】正極集電体の表面に正極活物質層が形成されてなる正極と、負極集電体の表面に水系バインダーを含む負極活物質層が形成されてなる負極と、電解液を保持するセパレータとを有する発電要素を備えた非水電解質二次電池において、前記負極活物質層中に含まれるバインダー量を前記負極活物質層の全量100質量%に対して2〜4質量%とするか、または、前記負極集電体からの前記負極活物質層の90°剥離強度を30〜70N/mmとし、かつ、前記負極活物質層の外周縁部における端部率を75%未満とする。【選択図】図2 |
