PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type washing machine which achieves space saving in a height direction of a detergent feeding part, and which allows a user to put in/take out laundry in a comfortable posture by arranging a rotary drum and a door through which the laundry is put in/taken out at a position higher than before.SOLUTION: A drum type washing machine includes: a housing 1 of a washing machine A; an outer tub 2 elastically supported inside the housing 1; and a rotary drum 3 rotatably supported in the outer tub 2. The housing 1 has an operation panel 6 and a detergent feeding part 4 from which detergent is fed on a front side on an upper surface part of the housing 1. The detergent feeding part 4 has: an opening part 4a provided on an upper surface of the detergent feeding part 4; a detergent lid 44 for opening the opening part 4a by rotating in an upper direction around shaft parts 44a, 44b on a rear end part; and a water supply port 42c provided on a wall part 42b within a height dimension of the detergent feeding part 4 and for supplying water in the detergent feeding part 4.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】洗剤投入部の高さ方向の省スペース化を図り、回転ドラムと、洗濯物を出し入れする扉との位置を従来よりも高い位置に配置して、楽な姿勢で洗濯物を出し入れすることができるドラム式洗濯機を提供すること。【解決手段】ドラム式洗濯機は、洗濯機Ａの筐体１と、筐体１内に弾性支持される外槽２と、外槽２内に回転自在に支持される回転ドラム３と、を備えている。筐体１は、この筐体１の上面部の手前側に、操作パネル６、及び、洗剤を投入する洗剤投入部４を有している。洗剤投入部４は、この洗剤投入部４の上面に設けられた開口部４ａと、後端部の軸部４４ａ，４４ｂを中心として上方向に回動して開口部４ａを開く洗剤蓋４４と、洗剤投入部４の高さ寸法内の壁部４２ｂに設けられ、当該洗剤投入部４内に給水する給水口４２ｃと、を有している。【選択図】図１
