Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor-standing type information code reader capable of improving reading performance for a picked-up image obtained by imaging a visual field range by suppressing polarization of illumination light.SOLUTION: A floor-standing type information code reader 1 includes a light guide member 50 disposed at a position where illumination light from an illumination light source 21 is radiated within a case 3 so as to be configured to guide the illumination light from the illumination light source 21 to be radiated to an outside of the case 3 via an opening region γ of a read port 5. This light guide member 50 guides the illumination light so that illumination light passing through a high illuminance region defined near a peripheral edge portion of a visual field range AR is higher in illuminance than illumination light passing through a center part P1 of the visual field range AR in the opening region γ.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】視野範囲を撮像して得られる撮像画像において、照明光の偏りを抑制することで読み取り性能を高め得る据置型情報コード読取装置を提供する。【解決手段】据置型情報コード読取装置1は、ケース3の内部において照明光源21からの照明光が照射される位置に、照明光源21からの照明光が読取口5の開口領域γを通ってケース3の外部に照射されるように導く構成で導光部材50が配置されている。そして、この導光部材50は、開口領域γにおいて、視野範囲ARの中心部P1を通る照明光の照度よりも、視野範囲AR内の周縁部寄りに定められた高照度領域を通る照明光の照度のほうが大きくなるように照明光を導いている。【選択図】図1
