Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable update of a firmware program while maintaining operation, in an inverter including two or more processors having different firmware.SOLUTION: An inverter including two processors operating with different firmware programs is subjected to function distribution into a processor for executing predetermined control processing requiring operation continuation and a processor for executing processing other than the control processing, transfers update data of a firmware program between the storage regions of the processors, alternates the rolls of the processors while repeating transition of a program to be activated, and thereby while continuing operation of the program for executing the control processing, updates two kinds of firmware.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】 それぞれファームウェアが異なる２以上のプロセッサを備えるインバータ装置において、運用を維持しながらファームウェアプログラムの更新が可能にすること。【解決手段】 異なるファームウェアプログラムで動作する２つのプロセッサを備えるインバータ装置において、運用継続が要求される所定の制御処理を実行するプロセッサと、前記制御処理以外の処理を実行するプロセッサに機能分散し、ファームウェアプログラムの更新データを両プロセッサの記憶領域間で転送し、起動するプログラムの遷移を繰り返しながら両プロセッサの役割を交代させることで、前記制御処理を実行するプログラムの作動を継続しつつ、２種類のファームウェアとも更新する。【選択図】 図６
