Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ion generator that can be disassembled to be easily cleaned using a brush and thereby can maintain its performance for a long period.SOLUTION: An ion generator (6) comprises a discharge electrode (11) and an opposite electrode (12), and a case (13) supporting those electrodes (11, 12) in an insulation secured state, and is provided with a projection part (16) projecting toward the opposite electrode (12) at the discharge electrode (11) and with a needle-like part (18) at a tip part of the projection part (16), the case (13) being provided such that an upper case (20) supporting the discharge electrode (11) is provided for a lower case (21) supporting the opposite electrode (12) movably in such a direction that the interval between the discharge electrode (11) and opposite electrode (12) increases, and the needle-like part (18) having large strength enough to withstand brush cleaning.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】分解してブラシを用いた洗浄が簡単にでき、ひいては、長期にわたって性能を維持することができるイオン発生機を提供する。【解決手段】放電電極(11)および対向電極(12)と、これら電極(11,12)を、絶縁を確保した状態で支持すると共に収容するケース(13)を備え、放電電極(11)に、対向電極(12)へ向けて突出する突出部(16)が設けられ、該突出部(16)の先端部に針状部分(18)が設けられたイオン発生機(6)において、ケース(13)は、対向電極(12)を支持する下ケース(21)に対して放電電極(11)を支持する上ケース(20)が、放電電極(11)と対向電極(12)の間隔が広がる方向に移動可能に設けられ、かつ、針状部分(18)が、ブラシ洗浄に耐え得る強度を有している。【選択図】図7
