PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road information statistics system, road information statistics method, and computer program making it possible to accurately estimate a mean travel speed and means travel time, each of which is statistical information, as well as a variance in the statistical information for a link with insufficient probe information.SOLUTION: In a probe center 4, probe information is acquired from each vehicle 3 that travels nationwide. For a reference link that is a link relevant to the number of pieces of probe information equal to or larger than a predetermined number of pieces of probe information, pieces of probe information relating to the reference link are statistically treated in order to calculate statistical information on an actually measured value which includes information specifying a variance. For an object-of-calculation link that is a link relevant to the number of pieces of probe information falling below the predetermined number of pieces of probe information, statistical information including information that specifies a variance is estimated and calculated based on the correlation between the statistical information on the actually measured value relating to the reference link and the road attribute of the reference link.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】プローブ情報の不足するリンクについて、統計情報である平均旅行速度や平均旅行時間に加えてそれらのばらつきについても正確に推定することを可能にした道路情報統計システム、道路情報統計方法及びコンピュータプログラムを提供する。【解決手段】プローブセンタ４において全国を走行する各車両３からプローブ情報を収集する一方で、該当するプローブ情報の数が所定数以上のリンクである基準リンクについて、基準リンクに該当するプローブ情報を統計することによって、ばらつきを特定する情報を含む実測値の統計情報を算出し、該当するプローブ情報の数が所定数未満のリンクである算出対象リンクについて、基準リンクに関する実測値の統計情報と基準リンクとの道路属性の相関関係に基づいて、ばらつきを特定する情報を含む統計情報を推定して算出するように構成する。【選択図】図６
