Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner for electrostatic charge image development that includes base particles and an external additive and is excellent particularly in prevention of fouling on an electrostatic latent image carrier, the toner being useful for various image forming apparatuses and image forming methods of an electrophotographic system, and especially an image forming apparatus using a contact member with a photoreceptor, such as a regulating member.SOLUTION: There is provided a toner including toner base particles having an external additive externally added thereto, where the external additive includes silica having 3/mg or more and 50/mg or less of aggregates.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】 母体粒子と外添剤を含み、静電潜像担持体の汚染防止に特に優れた静電荷像現像用トナーを提供することにあり、このトナーは、電子写真方式の各種画像形成装置及び画像形成方法に有用であり、特に、規制部材のような感光体との接触部材が用いられる画像形成装置に好ましく用いられる。【解決手段】 トナー母体粒子に外添剤を外添してなるトナーであって、該外添剤が、凝集体の個数が３個／ｍｇ以上、５０個／ｍｇ以下のシリカを含むものであることを特徴とするトナー。【選択図】図１
