Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve abrasion resistance performance without deteriorating drainage performance.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire 1 for a heavy load has center land parts 6 and middle land parts 7 formed. In the center land parts 6 center blocks 11 having hexagonal stepping-faces are arrayed in a tire circumference direction by center lateral grooves 9 which connect zigzag top parts of center main grooves 3 having the smallest widths in a tire shaft direction of the center land parts 6 to zigzag top parts of middle main grooves 4. The middle land parts 7 are partitioned into hexagonal middle blocks 17 arrayed in a tire circumference direction by middle lateral grooves 15 which connect zigzag top parts of middle main grooves 4 having the smallest widths in the tire shaft direction of the middle land parts 7 to zigzag top parts of shoulder main grooves 5. An aspect ratio of the middle blocks (LM/WM) is smaller than an aspect ratio of the center blocks (LC/WC).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
