Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to prevent generation of density unevenness in a formed image.SOLUTION: A laser printer is an image formation device which forms an image by scanning a photoconductor drum with light modulated on basis of image data (image information), and is equipped with an LD, and a scan control unit for controlling the LD based on said image data. The scan control unit shortens a light emission time (pulse width) of the LD when a specific pixel of the image is formed more than a light emission time (pulse width) of the LD when a normal pixel, which is a pixel of the image other than the specific pixel, is formed, and increases an emission light quantity (pulse amplitude) of the LD when the specific pixel is formed more than an emission light quantity of the LD when the normal pixel is formed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 【課題】形成される画像に濃度ムラが発生するのを防止できる。【解決手段】 レーザプリンタは、画像データ(画像情報)に基づいて変調された光により感光体ドラムを走査して画像を形成する画像形成装置であり、LDと、前記画像データに基づいてLDを制御する走査制御装置と、を備え、該走査制御装置は、前記画像のうち特定画素を形成するときのLDの発光時間(パルス幅)を前記画像のうち前記特定画素以外の画素である通常画素を形成するときのLDの発光時間(パルス幅)よりも短くし、かつ前記特定画素を形成するときのLDの発光光量(パルス振幅)を前記通常画素を形成するときのLDの発光光量(パルス振幅)よりも大きくする。【選択図】図8
