Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an optical output signal's degradation caused by the optical output signal's relaxation oscillation at the 0 level.SOLUTION: A drive circuit 3 for outputting shunt drive current Ish for driving a light-emitting device LD according to an input signal comprises; a main signal generation circuit 4 for generating a main signal Ic1 for controlling ON/OFF of the light-emitting device LD according to the input signal; and an auxiliary signal generation circuit 5 for generating an auxiliary signal Ic2 that starts rising later than time at which the main signal Ic1 starts rising, at the time of the shunt drive current Ish raising and has amplitude smaller than that of the main signal Ic1. The drive circuit combines the main signal Ic1 and the auxiliary signal Ic2 to output the shunt drive current Ish.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】光出力信号の0レベルでの緩和振動による光出力信号の劣化を低減すること。【解決手段】駆動回路3は、入力信号に応じて発光素子LDを駆動するためのシャント駆動電流Ishを出力する駆動回路であって、入力信号に応じて発光素子LDのオン・オフを制御するための主信号Ic1を生成する主信号生成回路4と、シャント駆動電流Ishの立ち上がりにおいて、主信号Ic1が立ち上がり始める時間よりも遅れて立ち上がりを開始し、主信号Ic1の振幅よりも小さい振幅を有する補助信号Ic2を生成する補助信号生成回路5と、を備え、主信号Ic1と補助信号Ic2とを合成することによってシャント駆動電流Ishを出力する。【選択図】図1
