Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid jetting device and a wiping method in the liquid jetting device capable of well wiping a liquid jetting part having projection parts.SOLUTION: The liquid jetting device includes a liquid jetting part 13 which has nozzle arrays 41-46 formed by arranging a plurality of nozzles 20 along the extending direction W and jets a liquid from the nozzles 20, and a wiper 24 which moves relatively to the liquid jetting part 13 in the wiping direction X1 to wipe the liquid jetting part 13. The liquid jetting part 13 comprises the plurality of nozzle arrays 41-46 formed with an interval in the wiping direction X1, projection parts 51-54 positioned between the nozzle arrays 41-46 in the wiping direction X1, and a plane part 56 positioned in both sides of projection parts 51-54 in the extending direction W. The wiper 24 wipes the liquid jetting part 13 with a first relative moving speed so as to collecting the liquid adhered to the liquid jetting part 13 to the plane part 56, and then, wipes the liquid jetting part 13 with a second relative moving speed faster than the first relative moving speed so as to move the liquid adhered to the plane part 56.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】凸部を有する液体噴射部の払拭を良好に行うことができる液体噴射装置、液体噴射装置における払拭方法を提供する。【解決手段】複数のノズル20が延設方向Wに沿って並ぶことで形成されたノズル列41〜46を有し、ノズル20から液体を噴射する液体噴射部13と、液体噴射部13に対して払拭方向X1に相対移動して液体噴射部13を払拭するワイパー24とを備え、液体噴射部13は、払拭方向X1に間隔を有して形成された複数のノズル列41〜46と、払拭方向X1においてノズル列41〜46の間に位置する凸部51〜54と、延設方向Wにおいて凸部51〜54の両側に位置する平面部56とを有し、ワイパー24は、液体噴射部13に付着した液体を平面部56に集めるように第1相対移動速度で液体噴射部13を払拭した後、平面部56に付着した液体を移動させるように第1相対移動速度よりも速い第2相対移動速度で液体噴射部13を払拭する。【選択図】図2
