Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a light spot applied on a projection surface accurately and stably, without any influence of a video signal, in a system using a plurality of image projection apparatuses.SOLUTION: An image projection apparatus includes a synchronization signal output section 11 which transmits a synchronization signal designated to capture a projection surface in a projection period excluding a period where a light instruction apparatus emits light of a predetermined color, to an information processing apparatus.
