Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle and stroke-amount detection device that allows a simple configuration to detect a rotation angle of a rotatable and linearly displaceable detection object and an amount of stroke thereof.SOLUTION: A rotation angle and stroke-amount detection device 1 has: a sensor unit 2; a rotation angle computation unit 51; and a stroke-amount computation unit 54. The sensor unit 2 has a sin sensor 21 and a cos sensor 22 as a magnetic detection element detecting a magnetic field varying accompanied by a rotation of a detection object 8 and linear displacement thereof, and outputs a sin signal Ys and a cos signal Yc on the basis of a detection value of the sensors 21 and 22. The rotation angle computation unit 51 computes a rotation angle α of the detection object 8 on the basis of the sin signal Ys and the cos signal Yc output by the sensor unit 2. The stroke-amount computation unit 54 computes an amount of stroke ΔX of the detection object 8 on the basis of the sin signal Ys and the cos signal Yc common to a signal to be used by the rotation angle computation unit 51. Accordingly, a configuration of the sensor unit 2 is simplified to allow a physical dimension of the device to be downsized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】回転且つ直線変位可能な検出対象の回転角度及びストローク量を簡素な構成で検出する回転角度及びストローク量検出装置を提供する。【解決手段】回転角度及びストローク量検出装置1は、センサ部2、回転角度演算部51及びストローク量演算部54を備える。センサ部2は、検出対象8の回転及び直線変位に伴って変化する磁界を検出する磁気検出素子としてのsinセンサ21及びcosセンサ22を有し、センサ21、22の検出値に基づくsin信号Ys及びcos信号Ycを出力する。回転角度演算部51は、センサ部2が出力したsin信号Ys及びcos信号Ycに基づき、検出対象8の回転角度αを演算する。ストローク量演算部54は、回転角度演算部51が用いる信号と共通のsin信号Ys及びcos信号Ycに基づき、検出対象8のストローク量ΔXを演算する。これにより、センサ部2の構成を簡素とし、装置の体格を小さくすることができる。【選択図】図3
