Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an igniter, capable of soft shutoff with a small circuit scale.SOLUTION: A determination stage 300A generates a determination signal Sby comparing a voltage V, which corresponds to an ignition signal IGT, to a reference voltage V. A driving stage 300B controls on/off of a switching element 202 corresponding to the determination signal S. A timer circuit 322 asserts an energization protection signal S11 if the determination signal Skeeps assert level state corresponding to on-state of the switching element 202 for a prescribed energization protection time. A time-varying voltage generation circuit 324 generates a time-varying voltage Vwhich drops in time from an initial voltage, triggered by the assert of the energization protection signal S11. 【課題】小さな回路規模でソフトシャットオフが可能なイグナイタを提供する。【解決手段】判定ステージ300Aは、点火信号IGTに応じた電圧VINを基準電圧VREFと比較し、判定信号SDETを生成する。駆動ステージ300Bは、判定信号SDETに応じてスイッチ素子202のオン、オフを制御する。タイマー回路322は、判定信号SDETがスイッチ素子202のオンに対応するアサートレベルである状態が、所定の通電保護時間にわたり持続すると、通電保護信号S11をアサートする。時変電圧生成回路324は、通電保護信号S11のアサートを契機として、初期電圧から時間とともに低下する時変電圧VSSOを生成する。アンプ326は、スイッチ素子202に流れるコイル電流ICに応じた検出電圧VCSが時変電圧VSSOに近づくように、スイッチ素子202の制御端子の電圧を変化させる。【選択図】図4 |
