Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To omit surface preparation work for exposed surfaces of a small cross-section shield tunnel and a cylindrical shield tunnel, in a small cross-section shield method and a cylindrical shield method.SOLUTION: A construction method for a large cross-section tunnel of the present invention includes the following steps for: bonding cover sheets 4a to 4d on shield segment bodies 1a to 1d located on a large cross-section tunnel space 46 side, among shield segment bodies 1a to 1h constituting a shield tunnel 3; assembling the shield segment bodies as shield segments 5a to 5d for constituting an outer shell 45; forming the tunnel inner space 46 by excavating and removing natural ground inside the outer shell; and removing the cover sheets 4a to 4d from the shield segment bodies 1a to 1d of the shield tunnel 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】小断面シールド工法や円筒シールド工法において、小断面のシールドトンネルや円筒状シールドトンネルの露出面のケレン作業を省略する。【解決手段】本発明に係る大断面トンネルの構築方法においては、シールドトンネル3を構成するシールドセグメント本体1a〜1hのうち、大断面トンネル空間46の側に位置するシールドセグメント本体1a〜1dに被覆シート4a〜4dを貼着し、これらをシールドセグメント5a〜5dとして組み立てて外殻45を構築した後、その内側に拡がる地山を掘削除去してトンネル内空間46を形成するとともに、被覆シート4a〜4dを、シールドトンネル3のシールドセグメント本体1a〜1dから剥離する。【選択図】 図3
