Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress load change of a main engine and improve fuel consumption in a ship propulsion system having a motor generator.SOLUTION: A ship propulsion system 100 is equipped with: power correction equipment 24 which calculates a power correction command value of a motor generator 3 so that generated electric power is reduced or electromotive force is increased when a vane angle command value of a variable pitch propeller 5 is changed in an increase direction, and calculates a power correction command value of the motor generator 3 so that generated electric power is increased or an electromotive force is decreased when a vane angle command value of the variable pitch propeller is changed in a decrease direction; and a motor generator controller 25 which controls the motor generator 3 according to the power correction command value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】電動発電機を有する船舶の推進システムにおいて主機の負荷変動を抑制し、燃費を改善することを目的とする。【解決手段】船舶推進システム100は、可変ピッチプロペラ5の翼角指令値の増加方向の変化時には発電電力が減少又は電動電力が増加するように電動発電機3の電力補正指令値を演算し、翼角指令値の減少方向の変化時には発電電力が増加又は電動電力が減少するように電動発電機3の電力補正指令値を演算する電力補正器24と、電力補正指令値に従って、電動発電機3を制御する電動発電機制御器25と、を備える。【選択図】図2
