PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively ensure stability of a ship even when surrounding walls of a duct, an air duct, and the like are provided across the upper parts of a plurality of cabins.SOLUTION: A ship comprises: a ship body 2 having a pair of right and left broadsides; a plurality of water-tight compartments S11, S12 partitioned by partition walls 21 so as to be adjacent to each other inside the ship body 2; a cylindrical casing 30A which is arranged so as to straddle over the water-tight compartments S11, S12 partitioned by the partition walls 21, and extends upward; openings 33, 34 which are formed at a lower end part of the casing 30A, and communicate the plurality of water-tight compartments S11, S12 and the inside of the casing 30A, respectively; and an inundation prevention wall 40A which is provided inside the casing 30A and extends upward from the lower end part of the casing 30A so as to separate the opening 33 of the water-tight compartment S11 and the opening 34 of the water-tight compartment S12 inside the casing 30A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】複数の室の上部を跨がるようにダクトや通風ダクト等の囲壁を備えた場合においても、船舶の復原性を有効に確保する。【解決手段】船舶は、左右一対の舷側を有する船体２と、船体２の内部に互い隣接するように隔壁２１によって区画された複数の水密区画室Ｓ１１，Ｓ１２と、隔壁２１によって区画される水密区画室Ｓ１１，Ｓ１２上に跨がるように配置され、上方に向けて延びる筒状のケーシング３０Ａと、ケーシング３０Ａの下端部に形成され、複数の水密区画室Ｓ１１，Ｓ１２のそれぞれとケーシング３０Ａ内とを連通する開口部３３，３４と、ケーシング３０Ａ内に設けられ、ケーシング３０Ａ内で水密区画室Ｓ１１の開口部３３と水密区画室Ｓ１２の開口部３４とを隔てるように、ケーシング３０Ａ内の下端部から上方に向かって延在する浸水防止壁４０Ａと、を備える。【選択図】図３
