Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a hook-and-loop fastener which uses as few materials as possible other than a molding material.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a hook-and-loop fastener includes: an injection molding process for forming a molded article (1x) in which a column group (3x) that is an aggregation of a plurality of columns (31x) and a base plate (2) including a surface where the column group protrudes are integrated by injection molding; a cutting process for cutting a tip part of the column group to form a cut article (1y) in which a small column group (3y) shorter than the column group and the base plate are integrated; a melting process for melting a tip part of the small column group to form a column body part (31a) that is a non-melted part and an engaging part (31b) that is a melted part and is thicker than the column body part (31a) from each small column (31y) constituting the small column group; and a cooling process for cooling to define a shape of an engaging element (31) including the column body part and the engaging part and to form a hook-and-loop fastener (1) in which an engaging element group (3) that is an aggregation of a plurality of the engaging elements and the base plate are integrated.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】成形材料以外の別の材料をできるだけ使わなくて済む面ファスナーの製造方法の提供。【解決手段】複数の柱(31x)の集合である柱群(3x)と、柱群が突出する一面を含む基板(2)とを一体とする成形品(1x)を、射出成形により形成する射出成形工程と、柱群の先部を切断することにより、柱群よりも短い小柱群(3y)及び基板を一体とする切断品(1y)を形成する切断工程と、小柱群の先部を溶融することにより、小柱群を構成する各小柱(31y)から、非溶融部分である柱本体部(31a)と、溶融部分であると共に柱本体部(31a)よりも太い係合部(31b)とを形成する溶融工程と、冷却することにより、柱本体部及び係合部を含む係合素子(31)の形状を定めると共に、複数の係合素子の集合である係合素子群(3)及び基板を一体とする面ファスナー(1)を形成する冷却工程とを備えることを特徴とする面ファスナーの製造方法。【選択図】 図1
