PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device that is driven by a battery and enables replacement of the battery without stopping an operation of the device, a control method of the display device, and a program.SOLUTION: A display device includes an image display part 20 that allows a user to visually recognize an image and transmits an exterior scenery, a first battery 131 and a second battery 132, and a control part 140 that switches an operation mode of the image display part 20 between a normal operation mode of supplying a power from the first battery 131 and a battery replacement mode of supplying a power from the second battery 132.
