Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage type electric water heater which maintains a temperature for boiling water in a hot water storage tank as high as possible, and which, even when temperature control means fails, eliminates necessity of requesting a maintenance agent for starting electricity conduction again, while maintaining hot water temperature in the hot water storage tank at one hundred degrees or less.SOLUTION: A hot water storage type electric water heater includes: a heating heater for heating hot water in a hot water storage tank; temperature control means for controlling electric conduction to the heating heater for heating the hot water in the hot water storage tank to a preset boiling temperature; a first excessive temperature increase prevention unit for turning off the heating heater when the temperature of the hot water in the hot water storage tank becomes a first temperature which is higher than the boiling temperature; and a second excessive temperature increase prevention unit for turning off the heating heater when the temperature of the hot water in the hot water storage tank becomes a second temperature which is higher than the first temperature. The first excessive temperature increase prevention unit is a bimetal of automatic restoration, and the second excessive temperature increase prevention unit is a bimetal of manual restoration.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
【課題】貯湯タンク内の湯水の沸き上げる温度を極力高くしながら、温度制御手段が故障した場合であっても、貯湯タンク内の湯温を百度以下に維持しつつ、再通電を行うためにメンテナンス業者へ依頼する必要がなくなる。【解決手段】貯湯タンク内の湯水を加熱する加熱ヒーターと、貯湯タンク内の湯水を設定された沸き上げ温度に加熱するために加熱ヒーターへの通電を制御する温度制御手段と、貯湯タンク内の湯水の温度が沸き上げ温度より高い第一の温度になった時に加熱ヒーターをオフする第一の温度過昇防止器と、貯湯タンク内の湯水の温度が第一の温度より高い第二の温度になった時に加熱ヒーターをオフする第二の温度過昇防止器と、を備え、第一の温度過昇防止器は、自動復帰するバイメタルであり、第二の温度過昇防止器は、手動復帰するバイメタルである。【選択図】図2 |
