Abstract PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship steering device which can perform positioning control corresponding to influence of inertial force of a ship or disturbance thereof.SOLUTION: A ship steering device is provided in which movement control is performed to move a ship to a target coordinate based on a signal of a GPS device. Based on a distance from a target position, a movement control stopping zone Ar, a buffer zone Br adjacent to the movement control stopping zone Ar, and a movement control executing zone Cr adjacent to the buffer zone Br are configured. Generation of thrust by a propulsion unit of the ship for a movement control is stopped at the movement control stopping zone Ar. Generation of thrust by the propulsion unit of the ship for a movement control is executed at the movement control executing zone Cr.
