Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ship steering device which can perform positioning control corresponding to influence of inertial force of a ship or disturbance thereof.SOLUTION: A ship steering device is provided in which movement control is performed to move a ship to a target coordinate based on a signal of a GPS device. Based on a distance from a target position, a movement control stopping zone Ar, a buffer zone Br adjacent to the movement control stopping zone Ar, and a movement control executing zone Cr adjacent to the buffer zone Br are configured. Generation of thrust by a propulsion unit of the ship for a movement control is stopped at the movement control stopping zone Ar. Generation of thrust by the propulsion unit of the ship for a movement control is executed at the movement control executing zone Cr. Only when the ship is stayed in the buffer zone Br after being moved from the movement control executing zone Cr to the buffer zone Br, and being moved away from the target position, generation of thrust is executed by a propulsion unit of the ship for movement control at the buffer zone Br.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7
