PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress reduction in a waterproof performance of a waterproof receptacle capable of selectively connect a 3P plug and a 2P plug.SOLUTION: The waterproof receptacle is capable of selectively connecting a first type of waterproof plug in which two terminals and one ground pin protrude and a second type of waterproof plug in which only two terminals protrude. The waterproof receptacle includes a main body part and a cover part. The main body part includes a connection plane with which a terminal insertion part for inserting the terminal and a ground insertion part for inserting the ground pin are formed. The cover part is formed so as to cover from an outer circumference a front end portion of a main body which is a portion including the connection plane in the main body part, and covers a waterproof plug from the outer circumference in the state where the waterproof plug is connected. The cover part is then formed to cover the distal end portion of the main body from a position farther away from a waterproof plug side than the connection plane.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】３Ｐプラグ及び２Ｐプラグを選択的に接続可能な防水コンセントの防水性能の低下を抑制する。【解決手段】２つの端子及び１つのアースピンが突出した第１種の防水プラグと、２つの端子のみが突出した第２種の防水プラグと、を選択的に接続可能な防水コンセントであって、本体部と、カバー部と、を備える。本体部は、端子を挿入するための端子挿入部及びアースピンを挿入するためのアース挿入部が形成された接続面を有する。カバー部は、本体部における接続面が含まれる部分である本体先端部を外周から覆うように形成され、防水プラグが接続された状態で防水プラグを外周から覆う。そして、カバー部は、接続面よりも防水プラグ側から離れた位置から本体先端部を覆うように形成されている。【選択図】図１
