Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and the like for manufacturing an intermittently adhered optical fiber ribbon capable of coping with high-speed manufacturing.SOLUTION: A coating roll 17 has a space therein. A die 31 is disposed inside the coating roll 17 and near a contact part with optical fiber strands 3a to 3d. When the coating roll 17 rotates, an adhesive member 5 held on an inner surface of the coating roll 17 moves to a position of the die 31. When moving to the die 31, the adhesive member 5 is pushed in a gap between the die 31 and the inner surface of the coating roll 17. When a coating hole of the coating roll 17 is positioned on an outer peripheral side of the die 31, the die 31 pushes out the adhesive member 5 between the die 31 and the inner surface of the coating roll 17 from the coating hole to the outside. Since the die 31 is tapered, the adhesive member 5 can be surely pushed out from the coating hole. The adhesive member 5 pushed out from the coating hole is coated between the optical fiber strands 3a to 3d.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】高速での製造にも対応が可能な間欠接着型の光ファイバテープ心線の製造方法等を提供する。【解決手段】塗布ロール17は、内部に空間を有する。塗布ロール17の内部であって、光ファイバ素線3a〜3dとの接触部近傍には、ダイス31が設けられる。塗布ロール17が回転することで、塗布ロール17の内面に保持された接着部材5が、ダイス31の位置まで移動する。ダイス31まで移動した接着部材5は、ダイス31と塗布ロール17の内面との隙間に押し込まれる。ダイス31の外周側に塗布ロール17の塗布孔が位置すると、ダイス31によって、ダイス31と塗布ロール17内面との間の接着部材5が塗布孔から外部に押し出される。この際、ダイス31がテーパ状であるため、接着部材5を確実に塗布孔から押し出すことができる。塗布孔から押し出された接着部材5は、光ファイバ素線3a〜3dの間に塗布される。【選択図】図6
