Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique to reduce or eliminate adverse effects resulting from movement of fluid during transport.SOLUTION: Provided is a stabilizer disc for liquid that reduces or prevents the formation of foam on an upper surface of the liquid. The stabilizer disc has a width and a height in which the width is greater than the height. The stabilizer disc further has a surface roughness in which an average roughness centerline is within a range of surface roughness (i.e., surface finish) values of 0.76-1.1 μm, 1.2-1.7 μm, 2.7-5.6 μm, 4.8-6.5 μm, or 8.0-12.1 μm. Furthermore, a plurality of stabilizer discs may be used to cover 33-70% of the surface area of the fluid.
