Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a configuration of a fixed part against a column thin by enabling a device for braking under strong wind to be assembled in compact.SOLUTION: There are provided a stator 21 fixed to a column 12 and a rotator 22 rotatably held against the stator 21 around the column 12 and rotated by wind force. The stator 21 has an overhang part 23 protruded outwardly in a radial direction of the column 12. The rotator 22 has an opposing part 24 opposing in a longitudinal direction of the column 12 against the overhang part 23 of the stator 21. Each of a plurality of power generating coils 51 and a plurality of braking coils 52 is concentrically arranged on a circumference of the opposing surfaces of the overhang part 23 and the opposing part 24. In turn, a plurality of permanent magnets 53 are arranged at the opposing part 24 of the rotator 22 in correspondence with the power generating coil 51 and a plurality of conductors 54 are arranged in correspondence with the braking coil 52. Then, there is provided a control part for applying an electrical current to the braking coil 52 to perform a braking action when the number of rotation of the rotator 22 exceeds a set value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】強風時の制動のための装置をコンパクトに組み込めるようにして、支柱に対する固定部分の構成を薄くする。【解決手段】支柱12に固定されるステータ21と、ステータ21に対して支柱12を中心に回転可能に保持され風力で回転するロテータ24を備える。ステータ21は支柱12の径方向外方に張り出す張り出し部23を有する。ロテータ-24は、ステータ21の張り出し部23と支柱12の長手方向で対向する対向部24を有する。張り出し部23と対向部24の相対向する面に、複数の発電用コイル51と複数の制動用コイル52をそれぞれ同心円周上に配設する。一方、ロテータ22の対向部24には、発電用コイル51と対応させて複数の永久磁石53を、制動用コイル52と対応させて複数の導電体54を配設する。そして、ロテータ22の回転数が設定値を超えたときに制動用コイル52に電流を印加して制動を行う制御部を備える。【選択図】図1
