Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that usual image quality is deteriorated resulting from shifting liquid droplets with different color in a nozzle arraying direction using a head having specific nozzle rows arrayed to suppress occurrence of a bidirectional color difference.SOLUTION: Colors are allocated to nozzle rows so that nozzle rows a and b, a nozzle row c, a nozzle row d, nozzle rows e and f, a nozzle row g and a nozzle row h discharge black (K) liquid droplets, yellow (Y) liquid droplets, magenta (M) liquid droplets, cyan (C) liquid droplets, magenta (M) liquid droplets and yellow (Y) liquid droplets respectively. When bidirectional printing is performed, nozzles which are arranged at different positions in a nozzle arraying direction and do not overlap with each other in a carriage movement direction are used to shift and impact dots of the K liquid droplets and the CMY liquid droplets in a sub scanning direction so as to suppress occurrence of a bidirectional color difference.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 【課題】特定のノズル列配置のヘッドを使用して異なる色の液滴をノズル配列方向にずらして双方向色差の発生を抑えるために通常の画像品質が低下する。【解決手段】ノズル列a、bはブラック(K)の液滴を、ノズル列cはイエロー(Y)の液滴を、ノズル列dはマゼンタ(M)の液滴を、ノズル列e、fはシアン(C)の液滴を、ノズル列gはマゼンタ(M)の液滴を、ノズル列hはイエロー(Y)の液滴を、それぞれ吐出するように色を割り当て、双方向印刷を行うときには、ノズル配列方向で異なる位置に配置されて、キャリッジ移動方向で重複しないノズルを使用して、Kの液滴とCMYの各液滴のドットを副走査方向にずらして着弾させることで、双方向色差を発生させない。【選択図】図6
