Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently obtaining high-purity 4-dimethylaminopiperidine with reduced impurity content from 4-dimethylaminopiperidine containing impurities.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for purifying 4-dimethylaminopiperidine, which comprises the following steps 1 and 2. Step 1: a step of cooling 4-dimethylaminopiperidine containing impurities to a temperature of the melting point of 4-dimethylaminopiperidine or lower to obtain a mixture of crystals of 4-dimethylaminopiperidine and a molten liquid. Step 2: a step of separating the mixture of the crystals of 4-dimethylaminopiperidine and the molten liquid obtained in the step 1 into crystals and a molten liquid at 30°C or lower.SELECTED DRAWING: None 【課題】 不純物を含有する4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンから不純物含有量の少ない高純度の4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンを効率よく得る方法を提供することを課題とする。【解決手段】 下記の工程1及び2を含む4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンの精製方法。工程1:不純物を含有する4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンを4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンの融点温度以下に冷却し、4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンの結晶と融液との混合物を得る工程。工程2:工程1で得られた4−ジメチルアミノピペリジンの結晶と融液との混合物を、30℃以下で結晶と融液に分離する工程。【選択図】 なし
