Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the time required for the finish of movement of a plurality of recording media to a reception tray while suppressing the degree of curl generated in the recording medium in the reception tray.SOLUTION: A printer comprises a holding mechanism which holds one or a plurality of sheets while keeping the height of the curl generated in the one or the plurality of sheets equal to or less than the allowable height of the curl, and a control part. The control part executes: conveyance processing for conveying the plurality of sheets P to the holding mechanism; stand-by time setting processing for calculating the individual stand-by time for each region by multiplying the standard stand-by time by three coefficients Ca, Cb, Cc for each sheet belonging to each sheet group conveyed to the holding mechanism, and setting the maximum value of the plurality of individual stand-by times as the stand-by time; and movement processing for moving the plurality of sheets P to a reception tray after standing by for the stand-by time in the holding mechanism for each sheet group.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
【課題】受容トレイにおいて記録媒体に生じるカールの度合いを抑制しつつ、受容トレイに複数の記録媒体の移動が完了するまでに要する時間を短くする。【解決手段】プリンタは、一又は複数の用紙に生じるカールをカールの許容高さ以下に規制しつつ保持する保持機構と、制御部とを含む。制御部は、複数の用紙Pを保持機構に搬送する搬送処理と、保持機構に搬送される各用紙群に属する各用紙について、基礎待機時間と3つの係数Ca,Cb,Ccとを乗じて領域毎の個別待機時間を算出し、これら複数の個別待機時間のうちの最大値を待機時間として設定する待機時間設定処理と、複数の用紙Pが用紙群毎に保持機構に当該待機時間待機させた後、受容トレイに移動させる移動処理とを実行する。【選択図】図6 |
