Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated electric wire intermediate material capable of improving cut-off performance at a desired position by simple working; a coated electric wire; a method for manufacturing a coated electric wire; and a wire harness.SOLUTION: A wire harness 10 includes a plurality of electric wires including a coated electric wire 20. The coated electric wire 20 has one cut-off portion 21, and is formed by working a coated electric wire intermediate material 30. The coated electric wire 30 has a plurality of element wires 31 and a coated portion 32 which has the plurality of element wires 31 stored therein, is formed of an insulative synthetic resin, and has a tube shape.
