Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of use of inert gas and appropriately prevent ignition of powder fuel supplied by transportation gas to a gasification furnace.SOLUTION: There is provided gasification equipment comprising: a fuel storage bin 5 storing powder fuel; a gasification furnace 8; a fuel supply hopper 7 which transports powder fuel from the fuel storage bin 5 to the gasification furnace 8 by using hydrocarbon-based flammable gas; and an oxygen concentration adjusting device 6 which adjusts oxygen concentration of gas present in the fuel storage bin 5 in order to prevent the occurrence of powder fuel ignition and flammable gas ignition in the fuel supply hopper 7. Such a gasification equipment 1 adjusts oxygen concentration of gas present in the fuel storage bin 5, so that the oxygen concentration of transportation medium gas transporting powder fuel can be adjusted in the fuel supply hopper 7 to concentration at which flammable gas ignition and powder fuel ignition do not occur, and therefore an amount of use of inert gas can be reduced.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】不活性ガスの使用量を低減し、かつ、搬送ガスによりガス化炉に供給される粉体燃料の着火を適切に防止する。【解決手段】粉体燃料が貯蔵される燃料貯蔵ビン5と、ガス化炉8と、炭化水素系可燃性ガスを用いて粉体燃料を燃料貯蔵ビン5からガス化炉8に搬送する燃料供給ホッパ7と、燃料供給ホッパ7で粉体燃料の着火と可燃性ガスの着火とが発生しないように、燃料貯蔵ビン5に存在する気体の酸素濃度を調整する酸素濃度調整装置6とを備えている。このようなガス化設備1は、燃料貯蔵ビン5に存在する気体の酸素濃度を調整することにより、燃料供給ホッパ7で粉体燃料を搬送する搬送媒体ガスの酸素濃度を、可燃性ガスの着火と粉体燃料の着火とが発生しないような濃度に調整することができ、不活性ガスの使用量を低減することができる。【選択図】図1
