Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a strength of a connection part 20 of an upper arm in such a manner that a mass increase is not caused as much as possible.SOLUTION: A knuckle 1 is formed in such a manner that a connection part 20 for connecting each of two upper arms is integrally projected from a body part 10 towards a vehicle width direction outer side. The connection part 20 is provided with a flat surface 22 for fastening a connection metal fitting which is formed on a circumference of two open holes 21a, 21b on a lower side face by cutting work. A cut edge 23 has an arc wall surface 24 of which a cross section is formed in a circular arc shape. The arc wall surface 24 has an evagination surface 24a, which is expanded in a gently-sloping mountain shape in a projection direction of the connection part 20, at a middle position in a vehicle body longitudinal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】 質量増加をできるだけ招かないようにして、アッパアームの連結部20の強度を向上させる。【解決手段】 ナックル1は、2本のアッパアームをそれぞれ連結するための連結部20が本体部10から車体幅方向外側に向けて一体的に張り出して形成されている。連結部20は、下側面における2つの貫通孔21a,21bの周囲に、連結金具を締め付けるための平坦面22が切削加工により形成されている。切削加工縁23は、断面が円弧状に形成された円弧壁面24を有する。円弧壁面24は、車体前後方向における中央位置で、連結部20の張り出し方向になだらかに山状に膨らんだ膨出面24aを有している。【選択図】 図2
