Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body side part structure of a vehicle that can suppress amounts of deformation of a hinge pillar due to interference with front wheels while downsizing the structure.SOLUTION: The vehicle body side part structure of a vehicle comprises: an outer pillar 10a; a hinge pillar 10 having an inner panel 10b that constitutes a closed cross section C extending vertically cooperatively with the outer panel 10a; a hinge pillar lane 11 arranged in the closed cross section C; and a front door to be mounted on a hinge pillar 10 openably and closably through a pair of vertical door hinges 8a and 8b, which further comprises a lower hinge mounting part 16 formed by swelling the hinge pillar lane 11 outside in a vehicle width direction, where the lower hinge mounting part 16 is arranged opposing in a longitudinal direction to a front wheel 9. A site, near the lower hinge mounting part 16, in the hinge pillar 10 is configured to be lower in strength than an upper site of the lower hinge mounting part 16.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】軽量化を図りつつ前輪との干渉に起因したヒンジピラーの変形量を抑制することができる車両の側部車体構造を提供する。【解決手段】アウタパネル10aとこのアウタパネル10aと協働して上下方向に延びる閉断面Cを構成するインナパネル10bとを有するヒンジピラー10と、閉断面C内に配設されたヒンジピラーレイン11と、ヒンジピラー10に上下1対のドアヒンジ8a,8bを介して開閉自在に取り付けられるフロントドアとを備えた車両Vの側部車体構造において、ヒンジピラーレイン11を車幅方向外側に膨出して形成された下側ヒンジ取付部16であって、前輪9に対して前後方向に対向するように配設された下側ヒンジ取付部16を備え、ヒンジピラー10における下側ヒンジ取付部16の近傍部位が下側ヒンジ取付部16の上側部位よりも低強度に構成された。【選択図】 図4
