Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode group which enables the materialization of a nonaqueous electrolyte battery superior in rate characteristic and cycle characteristic.SOLUTION: An electrode group 1 according to an embodiment comprises: a negative electrode 4; a positive electrode 3; and a separator 5. The negative electrode 4 includes: a negative electrode current collector 4a; and a negative electrode layer 4b. The negative electrode layer 4b includes a lithium titanium oxide. The positive electrode 3 includes: a positive electrode current collector 3a; and a positive electrode layer 3b. The separator 5 is disposed between the negative electrode layer 4b and the positive electrode layer 3b. The separator 5 includes at least one material having a high heat resistance. The separator 5 has a thickness of 3-9 μm. The negative electrode current collector 4a includes: a negative electrode coating part 4c with a negative electrode layer 4b supported on its surface; and a negative electrode uncoated part 4d which does not support the negative electrode layer 4b on the surface.
