Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag device capable of preventing an excessive rise in internal pressure of a cushion with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A curtain airbag 100 includes: an inflator 106; and a cushion 102 which is formed into a bag-shape using base cloth and receives gas from the inflator 106 so as to be inflated and deployed. The curtain airbag 100 further includes: partition sections 122 and 123 for joining base cloth of the cushion 102 so as to partition the cushion 102 into a plurality of chambers (a front main chamber 114 and a front delay chamber 116); a vent hole 136 provided in the middle between the partition sections 122 and 123 and allows gas to pass through; vent hole adjustment sections 140 and 142 for joining the base cloth of the cushion 102 continuously from the partition sections 122 and 123 so as to narrow an inner diameter of the vent hole 136 and eliminating the joining according to gas pressure applied to the vent hole 136 so as to enlarge the inner diameter of the vent hole 136.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】簡潔な構成でクッションの内圧の過度な上昇を防止することが可能なエアバッグ装置を提供する。【解決手段】カーテンエアバッグ100は、インフレータ106と、基布を用いて袋状に形成されてインフレータ106からガスを受けて膨張展開するクッション102とを含む。カーテンエアバッグ100はさらに、クッション102の基布を接合することでクッション102を複数のチャンバ(フロントメインチャンバ114、フロントディレーチャンバ116)に区画している区画部122、123と、区画部122、123の途中に設けられていてガスが通過可能なベントホール136と、区画部122、123から連続してクッション102の基布を接合することでベントホール136の内径を狭め、ベントホール136にかかるガス圧に応じて接合が解消されてベントホール136の内径を拡大するベントホール調節部140、142とを含む。【選択図】図3
