Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a numerical control device that is comparatively low in operating frequency and can also be restrained in heat emission and power consumption, uses a multi-core processor less expensive than a multi-CPU configuration and is provided with means for dividing the unit of shaft control processing into any number of shafts and causing the control to be decentralized into the multiple cores of the multi-core processor.SOLUTION: A numerical control device that controls a machine configured of multiple shafts and equipped with a multi-core processor having multiple cores comprises execution start request means that requests execution of shaft-by-shaft processing of multiply divided shafts into which the shaft control processing of the multiple shafts is divided by units each of a prescribed number of shafts, divided shaft-by-shaft processing execution means that executes the shaft-by-shaft processing of multiply divided shafts in response to the request from the execution start request means, and execution completion monitoring means that monitors the state of completion of the divided shaft-by-shaft processing by the divided shaft-by-shaft processing execution means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
