Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve dispersibility of an exhaust gas from a multi-cylinder engine to a catalyst and the like in an exhaust emission control device, and to improve exhaust gas purification performance by substantially unifying a flow speed of the exhaust gas in the whole treatment carrier such as the catalyst.SOLUTION: Two collective pipe portions 31 are disposed on substantially symmetrical positions through a partitioning plate portion 33 of the linear cross-sectional shape disposed at the central portion, and respectively formed into the D-shaped cross-sectional shapes. The D-shaped cross-sectional shape is composed of a first linear portion 34, a pair of second linear portions 35 respectively connected to end portions of the first linear portion 34 substantially in parallel with each other, and a circular arc portion 36 connecting end portions at a side opposite to the first linear portion 34, of the pair of second linear portions 35.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】多気筒エンジンからの排気ガスの、排気浄化装置内の触媒などへの分散性を向上させるとともに、触媒などの処理担体全体における排気ガスの流速を略均一にすることで、排気ガス浄化性能の向上を図る。【解決手段】2つの集合管部31が、その中央部に配置された直線状の断面形状の仕切板部33を挟んで略対称の位置に配置されかつそれぞれD字状の断面形状に形成されている。このD字状の断面形状が、第1直線部34と、それぞれ該第1直線部34の各端部に接続されかつ互いに略平行に配置された一対の第2直線部35と、該一対の第2直線部35における第1直線部34とは反対側の端部同士を接続する円弧部36とからなる。【選択図】図4
