Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a position of a tissue robustly in a magnetic resonance imaging apparatus which identifies a position of the tissue in a navigator area on the basis of a profile of a navigator signal in a navigator area set in a subject and performs breathing-synchronized imaging on the basis of the position.SOLUTION: In a plurality of time serial signal profiles where signal profiles of navigator signals at respective times of day are arranged, a signal profile at a first time of day is divided into a plurality of partial profiles, and "motion estimation" in a time axial direction is performed every partial profile by a method of block matching. Among the partial profiles, those which are of small motions are eliminated, and those which vibrate in an appropriate cycle as a breathing cycle are narrowed down, and motions of the tissue is identified according to motions of the remaining partial profiles. A position of the tissue at an arbitrary time of day is identified according to the motion.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 【課題】被検体に設定されたナビゲータ領域におけるナビゲータ信号のプロファイルに基づいてナビゲータ領域内の組織の位置を特定し、その位置に基づいて呼吸同期撮像を行う磁気共鳴イメージ装置において、上記組織の位置をよりロバストに特定する。【解決手段】各時刻のナビゲータ信号の信号プロファイルを並べた時系列的な複数の信号プロファイルにおいて、最初の時刻の信号プロファイルを複数の部分プロファイルに分割し、ブロックマッチングの手法により部分プロファイルごとに時間軸方向の「動き推定」を行う。各部分プロファイルのうち、動きの小さいものを除去し、さらに呼吸の周期として妥当な周期で振動するものに絞り込み、残った部分プロファイルの動きから上記組織の動きを特定する。当該動きから任意の時刻における上記組織の位置が特定される。【選択図】図9
