Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IC chip capable of blocking exposure of an identification key such as e.g., a PIN that becomes authorization means, and an authorization method of the IC chip.SOLUTION: A smart card 100 including an IC chip that performs a financial function includes: a PIN supply 210 for supplying the PIN to be used for authorization when performing the financial function using the IC chip; and a blocking part 230 for, when the PIN is provided to the outside through an input/output interface 220 at an initial first access of the IC chip, physically blocking a gap between the PIN supply part and the input/output interface.EFFECT: Since a financial institution does not preserve the PIN for identification, PIN exposure of a user can be blocked from a security attack such as hacking to the financial institution.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】認証手段となる識別キー、例えばPINの露出を遮断することができるICチップ及びICチップの認証方法を提供する。【解決手段】金融機能を行うICチップを有するスマートカード100は、ICチップを用いた金融機能を行うとき認証に用いられるPINを提供するPIN提供部210と、ICチップに対する最初のアクセスでPINが入出力インタフェース220を介して外部に提供されると、PIN提供部と入出力インタフェースとの間を物理的に遮断する遮断部230とを備える。【効果】本人確認のためのPINを金融機関が保管しないため、金融機関に対するハッキングなどのセキュリティ攻撃に対してユーザのPIN露出を遮断できる。【選択図】図2
