PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum pump capable of maintaining the pump performance.SOLUTION: In one aspect of the invention, an electric vacuum pump 1 has a pump chamber 28 in which negative pressure is generated, a cylindrical rotor 30 arranged in the pump chamber 28, suction ports 40 for sucking air into the pump chamber 28, and discharge ports 42 for discharging air from the inside of the pump chamber 28.
