Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reflective optical sensor that can improve the efficiency of use of light, and in turn contribute to the improvement of the accuracy of information on the surface of an irradiation target surface.SOLUTION: Light emitted from some of LEDs 60 arranged in array in the main scanning direction (Y-direction) passes through an opening 72 of a corresponding light-shielding member 74, is collected by a corresponding irradiation lens in an irradiation optical system 64, and with which a fixing belt 26 as an irradiation target surface is irradiated. Reflected light from the fixing belt 26 passes through a light-receiving optical system 66 and is received by a light receiving element 62. An opening part 72 has a shape in which a wall surface 72b farther from the light-receiving optical system 66, of wall surfaces 72a and 72b arranged opposite to each other in a Z-direction orthogonal to the array direction, becomes distant from the light-receiving optical system 66 toward the irradiation optical system 64 from the LEDs 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】光利用効率を向上させることができ、ひいては被照射面の表面情報の精度向上に寄与できる反射型光学センサを提供する。
