PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hot water storage tank unit that has high heat insulation performance.SOLUTION: A hot water storage tank unit 20 comprises: a hot water storage tank 1; an outer box 2 housing the hot water storage tank 1; and a foam heat insulation material 4 packed between the hot water storage tank 1 and the outer box 2. The outer box 2 includes: a front plate 2a including packing holes for packing the foam heat insulation material 4; a rear plate 2b opposed to the front plate 2a; and a pair of side plates 2c and 2d surrounding the hot water storage tank 1 together with the front plate 2a and the rear plate 2b.
