Abstract | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide binding proteins binding to cardiac troponin I, antibodies to troponin I and methods of the use thereof, in particular, the use of the antibodies to detect troponin I in a patient thereby diagnosing a myocardial infarction or acute coronary syndrome.SOLUTION: In a method, a Chinese Hamster Ovary (CHO) cell line, referred to as TnI 19C7 AM1 hG1 CHO 204, designated by American Type Culture Collection (ATCC) is used to introduce a recombinant expression vector encoding both the antibody heavy chain and the antibody light chain into dhfr-CHO cells by calcium phosphate-mediated transfection, thereby constructing a CHO cell line producing antibodies to troponin I.SELECTED DRAWING: None
